This weekend Tim and I celebrated our pretend one year anniversary - it's pretend because it's really next weekend but we will be busy then. To mark the occasion we stayed in a hotel in the city and saw Mary Poppins the musical. Hot date, i know. But Mary Poppins SO good, I've never been in a more excited audience. And Mary Poppins flies up into the air. For reals. It was lots of fun, nice to hang out and stay in a hotel, we pretended we were on our trip again, and that Naples was outside the hotel instead of a whole lot of drunk teenagers dealing with the realities of the 2am lockout law.
We also did a wee bit of landscaping. Romantic. Picture it with lots of pretty flowers and a big pot in the middle with fish in it (I know, genius).
I also managed to sneak off to the Finders Keepers market, along with every other Melbourne girl under 35. It was very excellent, but seeing as pay day was 3 weeks ago I was very restrained. Though I did get a Frankie diary (which yes I could get anywhere but their stall had doilies. Doilies). It's very beautiful, I am particularly enamoured with the endpapers. Love. Almost as much as my husband of almost-one-year, happy pretend anniversary Tim!
